Easy Guitar Repertoire is a collection of 57 very easy, yet musically satisfying guitar pieces. The pieces have been tried and proved with students through the years and have been successful at the lessons and in the concert hall as well. The pieces progress in difficulty. The first ones are suitable for beginners, the later ones for grades 1-2.

Easy Guitar Repertoire in Tablature contains the same pieces in Tab only. These 57 little guitar pieces were written in tablature from the start. The book was written to overcome the lack of basic material composed in tablature. The difficulty level of the pieces starts at zero, and by the end you are around grade 1 – 2. With a teacher, the book can also be used as a guitar method. Tablature was commonly used as notation for lute and guitar from the 1400s to the 1700s. Tablature is a good aid for beginners. Learning is accelerated when standard notation is not taught at the same time as the playing technique. Even complex pieces can be played early on. Once you have some skill, learning standard notation becomes easier.
